BASIS composite mesh is rods made of fiberglass or basalt plastic compound according to GOST 31938-2012 connected at the intersections with special thermoplastic material.

The mesh is designed to reinforce concrete instead of traditional metal reinforcing mesh. It has significant advantages over metal:

The connection of the composite rods to the mesh is made according to the patented technology (BASIS composite mesh construction patent No. 156998, the design of equipment for mesh production patent No. 158113). Thermoplastic material, which joins the rods together, is also a bar chair (spacer), which forms a protective layer of concrete.For different diameter of the rod, the height of the chair is different and corresponds to the standards. The mesh-forming rod is covered with quartz sand, significantly increasing the adhesion to concrete.
