Lisbon

— A suspicious vehicle was reported at 7:51 a.m. Sunday in the Lisbon Methodist Church parking lot on Washington Street. An officer made contact with the juvenile driver, who reported pulling over to sleep due to being tired.

— An officer was called at 4:02 a.m. Saturday to North Vine Street for a man having trouble breathing and remained until EMS arrived, EMS ran a few tests and everything came back okay. He signed a refusal to be transported.

— A male was reported walking in the street on East Lincoln Way at 2:09 a.m. Saturday with a car following him with its hazard lights on. An officer saw him walking on the sidewalk heading west with a car following him with the four-ways on. He said he was having a mental breakdown and wanted to go for a walk. The officer spoke to him to make sure everything was OK and then the man got back in the car with his girlfriend.

— A resident in the 300 block of East Lincoln Way reported at 9:12 p.m. May 11 that the catalytic converter was stolen off of his vehicle.

— A caller at 4:19 p.m. May 11 requested a welfare check on a man sitting on the sidewalk partially in the road in the area of Chestnut and Vine. He told officers he was on a walk and just sat down for a few minutes to rest.

— A woman in the 200 block of East High Street reported at 2:07 p.m. May 11 that she got her property surveyed and now the neighbor is outside pulling the stakes out. An officer spoke to both parties and told the neighbor she would have to get her own survey done and if there's a dispute with the lines, it would have to be handled in civil court.

— A resident came to the station at 10:50 a.m. May 10 to file a theft report for his food stamp card, advising that a male he knows arrived at his residence at 2 a.m. on May 4 with two females and his son, saying his son was hungry and they had no money. He told him he could use his food stamp card for $100, so they left at 6 a.m. with his card to get food at the Salem Walmart. They never came back with his card and when he checked the balance at 5 p.m. that day, the male had spent $276, leaving a balance of $4. He reported the issue to the welfare department and was told to file a police report.

— During a traffic stop on Jerome Street at 5:44 p.m. May 8, an officer noticed a Georgia driver's license while the driver was looking for his information. He provided his Ohio license. When asked about the Georgia license, he said it was a fake license he found. The license was for a female and was confirmed to be fake. He was given a verbal warning and the fake license was seized.

— A man came to the station at 3:51 p.m. May 6 looking for a ride south, claiming he was from Cleveland and walked/hitchhiked his way this far. He was told he couldn't be driven south, but if he needed housing, there was a shelter nearby. A bed was available and he was driven to the shelter. On May 9, dispatch from North Canton advised he had been entered as missing. They were told his contact information at the homeless shelter.

— Police responded at 3:27 p.m. May 8 to the Hornsby House, Rose Drive, where a male resident reported someone vandalized his walls and showed officers scratches on his walls and floors. He claimed a former employee did it because she would know how to get inside and avoid the cameras. He became agitated while speaking with officers and kicked them out of his room. His case worker told officers he had not been taking his medication and he was trying to find other housing.

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of D.W. Dickey's at 2:57 p.m. May 8, but was not found.

— Officers were called at 2:56 p.m. May 8 to East Washington Street for one to be removed. A female who wasn't on the lease was refusing to leave. The two parties came to an agreement that she would leave in three days.

— A car was reported parked in the road on West Washington Street with two people walking around at 2:40 a.m. May 8, but nothing was found.

— A man and his wife came into the station for a civil situation at 7:52 p.m. May 5. He was told there was nothing police could do about his ex-wife taking all the kids despite a court order. He was told to contact the court.

— Police were called at 6:51 p.m. May 2 to Thomas Road for a possible assault. The incident was under investigation.

County Sheriff

— A neighbor dispute over a well was reported at 9:38 a.m. Sunday on Lisa Lane. The caller said they’ve been coming over on his property, but have not made any threats of violence. Based on prior knowledge of the situation, the neighbors had a protection order out against the caller regarding the well, but he said that's been dropped. He was told to contact the Clerk of Courts for further information.

— A woman reported at 8:58 a.m. Sunday that a male was driving erratically and she continued to jump out of the vehicle to escape him early Friday morning. Late Saturday night, she said they had an argument and he continued to throw a remote at her and physically push her out of the house.

— A Washingtonville woman on Cherry Street reported at 9:47 p.m. Saturday that her neighbor was playing loud music. He was advised of the complaint.

— A deputy was dispatched to Wayne Bridge Road, Center Township, at 7:56 p.m. Saturday for people trespassing.

— An ambulance was requested at 7:08 a.m. Saturday for a male dropped off at the Columbiana County Jail.

— A woman from Fairfield Township reported at 1 a.m. Saturday that she was at the New Waterford Eagles club when a male she had a protection order against showed up. She left the club and he called her on her cell phone. She wanted a report on file.

— A disturbance was reported at 11:29 p.m. Friday on Grant Street, Center Township between a woman and her boyfriend. When deputies arrived, she said he wasn't there and she locked him out. He was advised of the eviction process.

— A shooting complaint was reported at 9:29 p.m. Friday on Sunset Drive, Yellow Creek Township.
